You can register the death with the nearest British Consulate if you live overseas.

The documents required for death registration:

• Complete the form 
• Municipal or Death Certificate of the deceased (with a notarised English translation where applicable)
• Doctor’s/hospital report detailing cause of death
• Passport or nationality certificate of the deceased 
• Fee in case if you are calling personally at the Consular Section counter
